I put some work into
serendipity (the blog of your choice!) the last days and modified parts of the code to be more windows and sensitive error-reporting compatible. This part is work-in-progress, but the basic things now work without errors.
But the main reason for this patch was support of browsing categories as well on the blog itself and in the RSS file, as proposed by
Sebastian Bergmann. Hope I do him a favor.
The 'ChangeLog' for this patch is:
- Browse categories (on multiple pages) and have per-category RSS-feed
- Fixed display of category in full article
- Display all config options when s9y is first installed
- Added select-dropdown configuration directive for the plugins
- Prepended language defines with a '@' to suppress error messages for fallback-language
- Fixed search results not displaying all content
- Fixed some undefined indexes/constants
- Support manual editing of the publish date on articles
The
patch is available in unified diff format and should be patched against the
latest CVS serendipity snapshot.
The patch is also implemented in my blog, so you can try the categories stuff out. But preferably you should know some german.
