Schnarchtag

London: Day Sixteen & Seventeen
As I already expected, the two days went quite easy. Apart from work and going to lunch, we were just hanging around Jose's home.
Well, on Tuesday I went to Oxford Street for the last time to visit Borders and the Virgin Megastore. At the Virgin Megastore I bought the 'Poloroid'-Single for Claudia and the 'Outkast'-Album for Jessica, and the 'Evanescene'-Album finally for me. I was thinking about buying the new Kill Bill Soundtrack as well. I already carried it around with me, but decided to first really listen into it before buying.
Then I went into Borders to look for the Vampire Books I was suggested (by Hamilton, Mathewson, Elrod, ...). But they didn't have any books of either author. Geez. Have to order at Amazon then.
The next day will be the last one here, and I'm leaving on thursday morning. Somehow I'm really looking forward to that; even though London was quite cool and extremely different than at home, I'm missing (especially) Emba and my friends...

London: Day Fifteen
Well. I think this was the laziest day ever. I awoke at about 10:00am...and then, the next time at about 2:00pm. As half of the day was already past me, I decided to just quickly go to the office, and call Emba.
After that and having returned home, I watched Angel episodes for the whole day, I guess I must have seen about 7 or 8 episodes. As the fourth season is one giant plot-arc, it's more than watching a 5 hour movie. Even though that may not sound that entertaining, it was. I had a good time being that lazy.
After all, I've seen most attractions around here in London, and my feet told me I wandered around enough for the time being. So I guess I'll be only going out to a bookstore or restaurants for the remaining days, and no more excessive trips.

London: Day Fourteen
For this day, I exactly planned what I wanted to see. It was the last saturday I had available and I felt like I had to catch up with all things I had missed earlier.

London: Day Thirteen
This day I finally completed the DHTML-Image editor. I cleaned up the code and made a PEAR-compatible class out of it. It currently depends on the Template_PHPLIB class and needs the GD Library. And after work, I went to Tate Gallery. Both is covered in depth, as usual, in the extended entry.

London: Day Twelve
This day was really successful doing my DHTML-Image Editor. Cropping now works (PHP supported) well and now I only have to cleanup the code to make it become publishable in the future.
This motivated me to get myself to walking in London once more, which I haven't really done in this week yet.
I looked up my "London: A-Z" map and decided, I wanted to go to the "Screen on Green", "Angel Station" (just because of its name), the "Business Designe Centre" and "Regents Park" and maybe even to the Baywaters-Hotel area.

London: Day Ten & Eleven
I didn't really do much on those two days, I always was too tired from work. Creating that image editor isn't really that easy.
So there's nothing to report from the front in London.

London: Day Nine
Now that the week has started, I had to put some effort into work again. Because some of the flowcharts for my "real" programming were not complete yet, I put my fingers to a JavaScript-based Image cropping tool. In that, you can move a cropping area around and zoom the image. Everything using CSS2 and JavaScript. Without JavaScript, you have a fallback-mechanism that works with CSS2 only (and PHP as the computing engine).
We decided to put this tool up as GPL as soon as the site has launched and the tool is more advanced. So look out for that.
In the evening, we wanted to watch some movies, but all "DVDs" we had were somehow corrupted or they were missing the second disc. So I started to watch Cypher, but could only watch 20 minutes of it, because I was so tired and also spent by the two giant Pizza-Hut pizzas we ordered.
